heart-felt.net was purchased on January 28th of 2005 and is hosted by flexwebhosting. For the first two years the domain switched between purposes. The first incarnation was a personal domain containing a blog and the other regular stuff you see on such a website. The second incarnation was a site portal. Then I realized that it was being wasted and when the domain renewed itself, I decided to turn it into my writing portfolio. Since then I've expanded the content a bit and the end result is what you see now.

What is this website all about?
Well, that’s quite obvious, isn’t it? It’s about me and my endeavors into the writing world. I’ve been writing for years, but I’ve finally decided that if I want to get published one day, I have to somehow get myself out there. The first step is to archive my stories on a website and share them with the masses. So, here we are.

What does ‘heart-felt’ stand for?
Nothing, really. A few years ago when I was trying to come up with a domain name, I had a long list of names. Heart-felt stuck with me, but it doesn’t have any particular meaning. Now that this domain is my writing portfolio, so to speak, I changed the heading to ‘where the writing comes from the heart’. I had to make my website fit with my domain name and not the other way around. Trust me, the next time I buy a new domain, it’s going to be more personal.
